Cole Bodine began racing at age 5 when his father introduced him to quarter midgets. Cole’s love for speed and the will to win always kept him interested in racing, but he never dreamed he’d make a career out of his favorite pastime. Now, he can’t imagine doing anything else.
Cole reached out to Tim Clauson looking to advance his racing career but understanding that it would take hard work and patience to prove himself. He came to work at the CMR shop and at the track on race days, jumping at the chance even with no real promises to drive. Cole’s work ethic showed through quickly and impressed those around him, earning him the chance to race with the team just months later. Clauson Marshall Racing built a five-race package to get Cole behind the wheel of a midget and, in doing so, launched his career.
At only 20 years old, Cole has had great success already and has a roadmap to achieve his goals for the future. Cole’s excited to continue his career and aspires to earn the Rookie of the Year title in 2019. From there, he’ll look to expand into USAC Sprint Car, Silver Crowns, and anything else he can get behind the wheel of. Cole’s ultimate goal is NASCAR or Indy Car.
Cole couldn’t have made it this far without his family, who instilled his work ethic and values in him from day one. In his free time, he spends time with his family and friends, rides pit bikes, goes fishing, and enjoys going to movies. To learn more about Cole, reach out!
